Chandigarh 5th December 2018. Relations are the backbone of every person’s life, whether it is with anyone,
however, when it comes to that one relation which changes the whole life of a person it is indeed the most special
one. A film which will talk about that particular Relation which we call ‘Saak’ in Punjabi has been announced and
the title of the film is ‘Saak’. Recently, the shoot of the film has just started.
Mandy Takhar and Joban Preet will play lead roles in film. Apart from them, Mukul Dev, Rupinder Rupi, Mahabir
Bhullar, Dilawar Sidhu, Sonpreet Jawanda, Deep Brar will also be seen playing pivotal roles. Kamaljeet Singh has
written the story and will direct this caper. Jatinder Jay Minhas and Rupinder Minhas will produce the whole
project. This film is the presentation of Minhas Films Ltd in association with Minhas Lawyers LLP, Jatinder Jay
Minhas and Rupinder Minhas.
The shoot of the film has already been started in Abohar, Punjab.
At the Mahurat shot, leading lady of Saak, Mandy Takhar said, “I always try to do the characters in which I can push
my limits and show versatility as an actor. When, I was offered this film I could not resist even once. My character
is very strong and I am looking forward to playing this on screen. I just hope people will love this film in the same
way as they always have loved my work.”
Joban Preet said, “I always wanted to be an actor. So, being on set is something I can leave everything for. I feel
very lucky that prior to the release of my first film, I got the opportunity to work on this wonderful concept. I will
try my best to do justice to my character. However, one thing I am sure about is that as an actor I could not have
asked anything better than ‘Saak’. I wish God will be kind to us and we will be able to deliver a good product to
audiences.”
Director of the film, Kamaljeet Singh said, “Saak is a beautiful story which is extremely close to my heart. I have put
my all heart and soul in this project. When I was writing this story I didn’t think about directing this. But, then I feel
that only I could be able to do justice to the emotions and feelings associated with ‘Saak’. Now, we have folded our
sleeves to not leave any stone unturned to make it worth. I just hope people will appreciate our genuine efforts.”
Jatinder Jay Minhas and Rupinder Minhas, the producers of the film quoted, “these days, filmmaking has just
constrained to comedy. But, we wanted to invest into something which will not only entertain people but must
have an emotional side into it. Saak the word which means to ‘Relation’ is the most beautiful part of our life. So we
are sure that this film will also be special and will win over the audience’s hearts. We wish the whole team good

‘Saak’ will hit the theatres on 7th June 2019.
