The hard-hitting trailer of Panorama Spotlight and Twister Entertainment’s forthcoming collaboration, Cheer Haran has arrested the attention of the viewers and created intrigue about the riots that followed the Jat Reservation Andolan. Amid all the anticipation that surrounds the documentary, actor Maanvi Gagroo (of the Four More Shots Please! fame) launches its motion poster.
The motion poster condenses the collective sentiments of the documentary that is a daring expose that depicts the eruption of riots and the human conflicts that arose since then. Directed by Kuldeep Ruhil, Cheer Haran addresses the misinformation related to the incident and comprises of interviews and testimonials of people associated with the agitation.
At the launch of the motion poster, Maanvi Gagroo says, “There’s no doubt Cheer Haran is an important film. It’s handling of the sociopolitical fabric of Haryana, it’s depiction & researched understanding of the events leading up to the riots of February, 2016 is thorough. Documentaries have been one of my favourite genres and Cheer Haran is a well made one and relevant too.”
Director Kuldeep Ruhil says, “I am grateful to the audiences for their positive response to the trailer of Cheer Haran and to Maanvi Gagroo for launching its motion poster. As we are edging closer to the release of the documentary, the positivity of the documentary is growing and that is very encouraging. I hope we make the desired impact with Cheer Haran.”
