Recently released film ‘Aate Di Chidi’ needs no introduction because of its immense
popularity among the audiences. Everyone is talking about this film for sensitively handling the big issues of Punjab
being Drug Menace, Urbanization and people going to abroad leaving their homelands. And now the members of
Vidhan Sabha Committee Som Parkash BJP, Prof. Baljinder Kaur Talwandi Sabo (AAP), Sukhpal Bhullar Khemkaran
(Congress), Jagtar Jagga Raikot (AAP), Kultar Singh Sandhwan Kotkapura (AAP), Barindermeet Singh Pahra
Gurdaspur (AAP), Lakhbir Singh Lakha Payal (Congress) along with Parminder Singh Pinki and Kulbir Singh Zira
watched this film in VR Punjab, Mohali.
The movie has been in news right from its announcement because of the fresh pairing of Neeru Bajwa opposite
Amrit Maan. Alongside these two talented artists, the film also has stellar actors like veteran Punjabi actor Sardar
Sohi, Gurpreet Ghuggi, BN Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Nirmal Rishi, Harby Sangha, Nisha Bano, Preeto Sawhney,
Balvir Boparai, Dilawar Sidhu, Prakash Gadhu, and Anmol Verma. Aate Di Chidi is a story about Punjab’s issues
which will be gently showcased in a humorous way. It promises to be a giggle-fest for the audiences. The movie is
helmed by Harry Bhatti and Raju Verma has written the story. The movie has been shot in Punjab and Canada. The
entire project is produced by Teg Productions’ Charanjit Singh Walia and Tegbir Singh Walia. GRS Chhina (Calgary,
Canada) has co-produced this film.
After watching this film, MLA from Ferozpur Parminder Singh Pinki said, “We have heard a lot about this film since
the movie has released. But when we watched this film I feel it is much more than what we have heard. Every
detail of Punjab and human emotion is beautifully captured. I am so satisfied that our filmmakers are catering
