The event was attended by the film’s lead actor and director Parmish Verma, along with key cast and crew members, who shared insights about the film and their experiences working on the project.
Besides Verma, the lead cast of Tabaah includes Wamiqa Gabbi, who plays the love interest, and talented actor Dheeraj Kumar in a pivotal role. The movie tells the emotional and tragic love story of two protagonists, whose relationship is shattered by a series of heartbreaking events. During the press conference, Parmish Verma spoke about his role, in which he plays a man whose life spirals out of control after falling deeply in love with Wamiqa Gabbi’s character. “This role was unlike anything I’ve done before,” Parmish Verma shared. “To truly capture the pain and loss my character feels, I had to transform both emotionally and physically. I gained weight and altered my appearance to depict a broken man who has lost everything. It was challenging but deeply rewarding.” Known for his fit, muscular physique, Parmish’s striking physical transformation into a dishevelled and distraught character has garnered attention since the film’s trailer was released.
Tabaah has been written by Gurjind Maan, whose script explores the complexities of love, loss, and the toll they take on the human spirit.
