Ali Brothers and Zafar Lohar set the stage on fire on the last day of Sufi Festival
The event was organized by Tourism Dept with the help of Aryans Group and Future Plus
The 3 days long International Sufi Festival and Craft mela-2015’ ended today. The world famous sufi singers Ali Brothers, Zafar Lohar and Sufi Band mesmerized the audience with vibrant and heartening performances on the last day of the Sufi Festival. Huge crowd was witnessed on the last day of the Sufi Festival because of clear weather. Minister, Department of Tourism, Punjab, S. Sohan Singh Thandal was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Principal Secretary, Tourism and Culture, Punjab, Smt.
Anjali Bhawra; Director Tourism, Punjab, Sh. NPS Randhawa and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria and Mr Balbir Singh Ghunas,CPS,Tourism were also present on the occasion. Minister, Department of Tourism, Punjab, S. Sohan Singh Thandal addressed the audience with great enthusiasm and optimism towards life. He mentioned that the base of each religion is love and humility which is the centre of Sufism as well.
He congratulated the entire team of Punjab Tourism, Aryans Group and Future Plus for organizing thisfestival featured with Sufi films, exhibitions and performances by Sufi singers from around the world. Punjabi, Folk Singer, Idu Sharif; Late Barakat Sidhu’s family and Pakistani, Sufi Singer, Zafar Lohar, Iqbal Manas were honored by Punjab Tourism and Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh on the occasion. Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that Aryans feel proud to be the part of this event. Dr.
Kataria further said that he appreciates the efforts of the tourism dept that after heavy rainfall still tourism department wonderfully organized the event. At the last Mr. Manish Sharma Future Plus thanked Department of Tourism and Audience for their continuous support inspite of bad weather.
