Chandigarh, 18th August 2023 (Punjabi Teshan) Recently, the eagerly anticipated film “Junior” was released in theatres. The teaser for this movie received a tonne of attention, and now it has officially been released in theatres. This film, featuring Amiek Virk and Srishti Jain, exceeds all expectations. Therefore, we shall evaluate this film in light of several elements.
This is the first action-and-emotional tale to appear in Punjabi cinema. Although this story is heavily laced with action, it is full of strong emotional ties and familial affection. It has never happened before in Punjabi movies. Amiek Virk’s character “Junior,” who plays the superhero we wanted in Punjabi cinema, is delivered. The protagonist is a regular guy who works for the system, but when he tries to quit, the system portrays him as a criminal. This is the tale of his vengeance after his daughter was killed. Can he resume his regular life? To find out the answer, you must see the film.
Apart from this, You would never guess that this is Amiek Virk’s first main role in a film. He did a great job in his role. He was excellent in terms of action, but even better in terms of emotion. As we all know, when action and emotion are combined, a superhuman character comes to life. Junior is our own superhero. Additionally, Srishti Jain did a fantastic job as Smaira, and Jasleen Rana, who played Junior’s daughter, left us speechless. There are no words for Pradeep Rawat and Kabir Bedi since they are already legendary.
Any movie’s success at the box office is directly related to and quite dependent upon the music. The placement of the songs in the film is also important, and it was done well since when a song is performed throughout a film, it helps to further our connection to the plot. There are voices from giants like Richa Sharma, Feroz Khan, and Kanwar Grewal, therefore the choice of singers was excellent.
Harman Dhillon, who directed this film for his directorial debut, smacks a six right off the bat. You might find it hard to believe that this is his first film, one of Pollywood’s largest endeavors and one that has a decidedly Hollywood vibe. Because the film was filmed in several different nations, Harman Dhillon and Nadar Films deserve credit for ensuring that every shot was exceptional.
In conclusion, we would like to emphasize that “Junior” is a complete package, and that viewers who have been calling for something unique in Punjabi film should go watch it there. If you support this movie by seeing it, it will be a significant milestone for the Punjabi industry and could lead to significant change. Punjabi Teshan awards this film five stars out of five.……………………
